RESOLUTION NO.
39-81
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL RISK
MANAGEMENT AGENCY (IRMA)
:WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect did pass Ordinance No. 2908, An Ordinance
Authorizing Membership in the Intergovernmental Risk Management
Agency (IRMA), which Ordinance No. 2908 was passed on May.8, 1979
and
WHEREAS, Article V of the Contract and ByLaws of the Intergovernm n:
Risk Management Agency provides for each member community to
appoint a representative of the municipality as well as
alternate representative to serve on the Board of Directors
of said Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Terrance L. Burghard, Village Manager of
the Village of Mount Prospect, is hereby appointed the
Village of Mount Prospec~'s representative on the Board of
Directors of the Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency
(IRMA) and John Hedstrom, Director of Management Services,
is hereby appointed alternate representative for the Village
of Mount Prospect on the Board of Directors of the Intergovernmen a]
Risk Management Agency.
SECTION TWO: That this Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval in the
manner provided by law.
