EREAS, the Prospect Knights and the Arlington Cardinals
asketball teams are to be commended for their outstanding
ear; and,
the citizens of the Village of Mount Prospect are
the accomplishments of both teams; and,
EREAS, the Prospect Knights ended the season with a team
ecord of 23 and 4; and,
the Arlington Cardinals captured a 24 and 5 record
them to win the sectional championship; and,
EREAS, we extend our best wishes to the Arlington Cardinals
for making the 16 team finals;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
I SECTION ONE: That all of Mount Prospect is proud of
the accomplishments of both the Prospect Knights and the
Arlington Cardinals for having such highly successful years
in representing this area so well.
SECTION TWO: That the Arlington Cardinals be congratulated
for their team spirit and success; and, that on behalf of
all the residents of the Village of Mount Prospect, we wish
¡them well in the upcoming tournament.
I SECTION THREE: That this Resolution shall be in full
Iforce and effect from and after its passage and approval
according to law.
