RESOLUTION NO.

A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 9-83 APPROVING THE FISCAL
YEAR 1983 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT ENTITLEMENT PROGRAM
HEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
ount Prospect did adopt Resolution No. 9-8} approving the
nitial allocation of $336,000.00 from the U.S. Department of
ousing and Urban Development for the fiscal year 1983 Community
evelopment Block Grant Program; and
HEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect has since received
otifi¿ation from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
evelopment that an additional $9,817.00 has been reallocated to
he Village for a total entitlement of $345,817~00; and
HEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have determined that
8,000.00 of these additional funds should be allocated to the
esidential Rehabilitation Program and $1,817.00 should be
llocated to General Program Administration:
OW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
F THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
ECTION ONE: The Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of
ount Prospect hereby approves the allocation of Community
'evelopment Block Grant funds to projects in the following
mounts for a total allocation of $345,817.00:
Residential Rehabilitation Loan Program
Commonwealth Edison R.O.W. Improvements
Downtown Improvements
Open Space Acquisition
Senior Citizen Center Roof
Adult Day Care Rehabilitation
Adult Day Care paratransit
Smoke Detector Program
Contingency'
Housing Counseling
General Administration

To be combined with $30,000.00 reprogrammed from Commercial
ehabilitation, $35,000.00 reprogrammed from Housing Site
