RESOLUTION NO. 22-83
A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGfÑrrTH~ 50TH ANNIVERSARY YEAR
OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT LIONS CLUB
WHEREAS, the Mount Prospect Lions Club is celebrating its
50th Anniversary Year; and,
WHEREAS, the Mount Prospect Lions Club is well recognized
for its service and dedication to our fine community; and,
WHEREAS, the Mount Prospect Lions Club annually sponsors
various activities and events in order to fund the continua-
tion of its humanitarian endeavors; and, .
WHEREAS, the Mount Prospect Lions Club is recognized for its
successful programs for the blind and its continuing education
programs as well as its contributions to numerous community
and civic groups.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: The Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village'
of Mount Prospect do hereby acknowledge th~ 50th Anniversary
Year of the Mount Prospect Lions Club, and offer congratulations
to its members and supporters for their continuing efforts
and accomplishments.
SECTION TWO: We urge all residents to recognize and support
the leadership and community spirit generated by the Mount
,Prospect Lions Club.
SECTION THREE: This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner
provided by law.
