X. OLD BUSINESS A. PZ-03-05, 1451 W. Lincoln Street, Residence 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1451 WEST LINCOLN STREET This ordinance grants a variation for a garage addition with encroachment into the side yard The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 5-2. B. PZ-02-05, 1-17 S. Emerson Street 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AT 1-17 SOUTH EMERSON STREET This ordinance grants a Conditional Use permit and variations to allow the construction of fourteen (14) rowhomes as a Planned Unit Development. The Planning and Zoning Commission is recommending approval, with conditions, by a vote of 6-1. C. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF FOUNDERS' ROW, 1-17 SOUTH EMERSON STREET (Deferred from the February 15, 2005 Village Board meeting). XI. NEW BUSINESS A. A RESOLUTION COMMITTING PRESENT AND FUTURE VILLAGE BOARDS TO THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES FOR DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC GREEN SPACE B. PZ-46-04, 1310 Burning Bush Lane 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1310 BURNING BUSH LANE This ordinance grants a variation for the construction of an oversized garage. The petitioner is appealing the Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation (4-3) to deny the request. (The petitioner has requested deferral to the March 15 Village Board meeting). C. A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF WIREFORMERS, INC., 500 CARBOY ROAD, MAKING APPLICATION FOR COOK COUNTY CLASS 6B TAX ABATEMENT (Exhibit A) (Exhibit B) (Exhibit C) (Exhibit D) (Exhibit E) XII. F. XIII. D. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 (ALCOHOLIC LIQUORS) OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This ordinance amends the Code by limiting the number of packaged goods licenses to those currently issued (5), and by allowing the sale of liquor earlier in the day. (Exhibit F) E. * A RESOLUTION APPOINTING DAVID STRAHL AS REPRESENTATIVE TO THE ILLINOIS MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT FUND FOR THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT (Exhibit G) F. * A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A REPRESENTATIVE AND ALTERNATE REPRESENTATIVE TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL PERSONNEL BENEFIT COOPERATIVE (Exhibit H) VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT A. Request to accept bid from Second City Valet, Ltd. to provide valet parking services for downtown merchants during the construction of the Emerson Street mixed-use project ($10,800) B. Request to accept bid from Arrow Road Construction for 2005 Street Resurfacing Program ($2,271,000) C. * Request to accept State of Illinois bid for one 2-wheel drive pickup truck from Green Chevrolet, Inc. of Peoria, Illinois, for an amount not to exceed $23,400. D. * Request to accept State of Illinois bid for one 4-wheel drive pickup truck from Green Chevrolet, Inc. of Peoria, Illinois for an amount not to exceed $25,300.
