A RESOLUTION TO SUPPORT EFFORTS OF THE SPECIAL COM11ISSION ON THE ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE IN COOK COUNTY 46-84 EREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees find that the ircuit Court of Cook County is a vital link in the Criminal nd Civil Justice System in Cook County; and, I EREAS, the Chief Judge of the Cook County Circuit Court as appointed a Commission to study the operations of, and ake recommendations for the Circuit Court of Cook County; nd, EREAS, any changes in the administration.of justice in the ook County Circuit Court which would reduce the great acklog of cases in the system and encourage the efficient peration of said system would be beneficial not only to the þitizens of Mount Prospect,but to all citizens of Cook County; and, EREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees find that it is in he best interests of the Village to fully cooperate and to ncourage all citizens to cooperate with the Special Commission s it conducts its study. OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF RUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, LLINOIS: ECTION ONE: It is hereby determined that as a matter of ublic policy, the Village of ~1ount Prospect will support he efforts of the Special Commission on the Administration f Justice in Cook County to study the operations of and ake recommendations for the Circuit Court of Cook County. ECTION TWO: The Mayor and Board of Trustees encourage all itizens to likewise support the efforts of the Special I ommission by volunteering information regarding their xperiences with the Cook County Circuit Court. t i I ECTION THREE: The Village of Mount Prospect will, for its art, forward all information, documents and suggestions hat it may have to the Special Commission and cooperate in ny way it can with the Special Commission's study. ECTION FOUR: That thts Resolution shall be in full force nd effect rom and after its passage and approval in the anner provided by law.
