VWL/ 8/26/98 8/27/98 ORDINANCE NO, 4960 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP WITH RESPECT TO THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-A TO B-5 (CENTRAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT 7 NORTH RIDGE AVENUE WHEREAS, Henry W. Friedrichs is the owner of property commonly known as 320 West Central Road (hereinafter referred to as Subject Property) and legally described as: Lot 8 in Block 25 in Prospect Manor, being a subdivision of part of the South % of the West ¼ of Section 34, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, as per plat thereof recorded March 6, 1926 as Document No. 9199191, in Cook County, Illinois; and WHEREAS, the Petitioner has filed an application to rezone the Subject Property from R-A (Single Family Residence) to B-5 (Central Commercial); and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the request for rezoning, being the subject of ZBA Case No. 32-97 before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the 26th day of February, 1998 pursuant to due and proper notice thereof having been published in the Mount ProsDect Journal and Topics on the 6th day of February, 1998; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings and recommendation relative to ZBA 32-97 to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have considered the request being the subject of ZBA 32-97 and have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect would be served by granting said request. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That the recitals set forth hereinabove are incorporated herein as findings of fact by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect. BA 32-97 Page 2 of 2 SECTION TWO: The official zoning map of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, as amended, is hereby further amended by reclassifying the property being the subject of this Ordinance from R-A (Single Family Residence) to B-5 (Central Commercial) District. SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
