Information
On August 8, 2019, the Illinois Gaming Boardrove r Louie for a video gaminglicense for one year, expiring
August 2020. Staff from the Village Manager"sOffice and Community Development havevisited the business and met
with the video gamingterminal operator and Bar Louie management to review the location and the site plan of the
proposed i area.
The attached submittal has been reviewed rove y the Village Manager's Office. The proposed video gaming
layout includes five gaming machines and one payment/disbursement/atmchin . To limit the gaming area
persons 21 years f age and older, a permanentpartition wall will be installed t separates the proposed gaming
area from the other areas of the restaurant. The partition wall will be floor to ceiling l rct the view of the
gamingr while still allowing the gaming areait y an employeeall times. No lighting r sounds
from the gaming machinesshall be visible r audible outside the gaming area. Bar Louie still offers a generous
seating area in the restaurant tr the video gaming terminal installation.

and prior to their use. It is the responsibility of the video gamingapplicant the gaming consultant to ensure that
final inspection is scheduledwith the Village. II necessary video monitoringi I rsystem

Staff Recommendation

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 OF THE
VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT
PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS ACTING IN THE EXERCISE OF THEIR HOME RULE POWERS:
SECTION ONE: That in accordance with Subsection A of Section 13.108 of Chapter 13 of the Village Code
of Mount Prospect, as amended, the Corporate Authorities shall determine the number of Liquor Licenses
available in each Classification and shall establish a list specifying the number of Liquor Licenses
authorized. Said list is hereby amended increasing the number of Class "F-3-V" Liquor Licenses by
One(1) RANDHURST SPORTS BAR INC. D/B/A BAR LOUIE and deleting the number of"F-3" by One
(1) RANDHURST SPORTS BAR INC. D/B/A BAR LOUIE located at 200 e. Rand Road. Said list is as
