A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION FOR THE LEADERSHIP
PROVIDED BY PASTOR ROBERT J. FURREBOE
WHEREAS, PASTOR ROBERT J. FURREBOE has served St. Mark Lutheran Church for 18
years; and
WHEREAS, PASTOR ROBERT J. FURREBOE has been in the ministry for 40 years; and
WHEREAS, through his leadership to the congregation, St. Mark recently completed a $1.5
million expansion project; and
WHEREAS, that expansion serves as PASTOR FURREBOE'S legacy to St. Mark; and
WHEREAS, PASTOR FURREBOE'S involvement in many ecumenical activities has enriched the
lives of his congregation; and
WHEREAS, through his efforts and leadership, St. Mark and St. Raymond Catholic Church have
fostered and cultivated an extremely close and friendly relationship;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
do hereby acknowledge and recognize the leadership of PASTOR FURREBOE and hereby
express gratitude to him for his many contributions to the community.
SECTION TWO: That a certified copy of this Resolution be suitably prepared and
presented to PASTOR ROBERT J. FURREBOE as a perpetual memento.
SECTION THREE: That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
