A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A GRANT OF EASEMENT
TO COMMONWEALTH EDISON ON VILLAGE-OWNED PROPERTY AT 301 SOUTH MAPLE STREET
(MAPLE STREETm..l OFTS1 I11XED-U mDEELOPI 4 N1_PR0J CT).
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect currently owns the property at 301 South Maple Street
commonly known as the Maple Street Lofts Mixed-Use Development Project; and
WHEREAS, the Commonwealth Edison Company has requested a 10' (ten feet) wide easement
along the western boundary of the Maple Street Lofts development site and will extend from the
northwest corner of the parcel to a terminus approximately 440 feet south; and
WHEREAS, the proposed easement will host buried electrical lines and grade-mounted
transformers to facilitate distribution of electric power for planned new buildings for the Maple
Street Lofts development; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: The Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect do hereby authorize the
President to sign a grant of easement to Commonwealth Edison on Village-owned property at 301
South Maple Street.
SECTION TWO: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval in the manner provided by law.
