Information
At the July 16,, 2019 Village r i contract for construction of the Edwin and Elsie Meyn Busse Park was
awardedI uss Brothers of Chicago,, Illinois. In order to realize costsavings from existing joint purchasing
agreements,, site furniture was omitted from the ClaussBrothers' award. Sitefurniture includes amenities such as
benches, tables, seating areas,, electronics charging stations, and trashreceptacles. intends to procure these
items separately and avail them to Clauss Brothers for installation.
Site furniture specified in the park designplans, cinexisting site furniture installed elsewhere throughout
the downtown business and streetscape areas., is available for procurement throughthe National Cooperative
Purchasing Alliance ( ) joint purchasing contract. Procurement of commodities r the NCPA satisfiesthe
Village's purchasing policy requirements.
Attached for reference is a copy of the park design plansi the site furniture features. Site furniture details
can be found on pages L 302 throughL . The proposed purchaseincludes is site furniture including
benches, chairs,, tables, trash receptacles, and charging station bollards.
The NCPA vendor for site furniture is Landscape Forms of Kalamazoo, Michigan. A price quotation for specified
quantities furniture types at NCPA joint purchasing agreementrates is attached. Supplemental information about
