accomplishments forThe Board recognized the efforts of a! d the Village Leadership- •r successful implementation of
several key priorities in the Village Strategic Plan. The plan emphasized economic development initiatives throughout the Village, and
specific objectives from the plan were included in Cassady"s 2018 goals. In recognition of his accomplishments, Cassady will receive a merit
increase of 4.0 percent in base compensation, taking his base salary from $214,987 to $223,587. The Board also awarded Cassady a bonus
of $15,000 for-.- • and success in meeting his 2018 goals.

""Mike has done an excellent job positioning our downtown to flourish with multiple transit -oriented development projects underway and in
the pipeline,"' stated Mayor Arlene Juracek. "We recognize that change of the magnitude occurring in Mount Prospect, even when it
conforms to agreed-upon plans, can be uncomfortable for the community. The Board and Village Manager are committed to continuing
transparency and public engagement efforts to assure community members that their concerns are being heard and addressed,"' Juracek
The Board also recognized the value creation from the Mount Prospect Point project that is currently under construction on Rand Road tha�
will include a Texas Road House, Buona Beef and The Tile Shop.
"Mike crafted a Police and Fire HQ relocation strategy and financing plan that allowed us to finally address our inadequate and deteriorating
Police Headquarters, said Mayor Juracek. "The adaptive re -use of two quality commercial buildings will enhance emergency responses for
Police, Fire and EMS and save taxpayers more than $14.0 million compared to new construction alternatives."

The Mayor and Board have used a private sector approach to Cassady"s compensation, which emphasizes pay for performance and places a
component of compensation at risk. ""We aim to be at the middle of the upper 50 percent of city managers in communities comparable to
Prospect,"' stated Mayor"Increases - based on '- and demonstrated leadership
behaviors."'
