Call to Order 9:06 a.m.
Attendance Teresa VanOpDorp, Kate Kelly, Christina Greco, Sandy DiCaro, Fred Steinmiller
and Brian Lambel
Absent Maura Drews, Lizzet Stone Witkowski, Jill Friedrichs, Paul Seils, Haley Schechter Win-
kler, and Vicki Busse

Citizens to be Heard None
Finances Review
*Teresa reconciled her list of paid Shining Star sponsors and noted that $6,500 in revenue is
missing from the Treasurer's Report.
*Also missing disbursements from at least the table decor decorating, Kathy; possibly more.
*Z Search Recruiting Inc. (photography) should be removed from SEC budget, per prior years it
has come out of the Village's budget.
*Did not approve financials due to discrepancies.
Shining Star Recap
*Tables: Suggested to have the tables start further away from the speakers to ensure those in the
front can hear. Discussed having the tables cover the underused dancefloor toward the back of
the room.
*Band: Everyone agreed Teresa should book the band again for next year. Teresa will negotiate
contract for more flexibility due to additional cost this year for extra 15 minutes.
Family Bike Ride
*Haley and Christina will oversee the event.
*Date was chosen: Saturday, August 18tH
*Teresa will check on the amount of left over bells from 2017 Family Bike Ride.
*Christina suggested signage for how families can make donation to SEC (people inquired last
year).
4t" of July Parade
*Jill working on logistics of event
*Parade will be on Wednesday, July 4th
*Mount Prospect Lions Club Festival will run July 4th through the 8th
NYEE
*We will need to raise prices to bring in more revenue
No meeting will be help on Saturday, May 5th.
