AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7
OF THE VILLAGE CODE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Section 7.205 entitled "Exempt Signs" of Chapter 7 of the Village Code,
as amended, is hereby further amended by adding the following new subsection "Q", so that
hereafter said Section 7.205.Q shall be and read as follows:
"Q. Bus Shelter Signs. Signs integrated into the design of bus shelters located in the
right-of-way of a major or secondary arterial street, as defined by the Village of Mount Prospect
Comprehensive Plan, and as a part of a program or contract granted by the Village Board."
SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.

ABSENT: Farley, Wilks
