HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 5015 04/20/1999 ORDINANCE NO. 5015 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3604 RELATIVE TO THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT GOVERNING RANDHURST SHOPPING CENTER IN ORDER TO PERMIT THE EXPANSION OF A DRIVE-THROUGH BANK FACILITY Passed and approved by the President and Board of Trustees the 20th day of April, 1999 Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 21st day of April, 1999 VVVL 4/14/99 ORDINANCE NO. 5015 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3604 RELATIVE TO THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT GOVERNING RANDHURST SHOPPING CENTER IN ORDER TO PERMIT THE EXPANSION OF A DRIVE-THROUGH BANKING FACILITY WHEREAS, Rouse-Randhurst Shopping Center (hereinafter referred to as Petitioner) has filed a petition to amend the Planned Unit Development being the subject of Ordinance No. 3604, and any subsequent amendments, for a Conditional Use with respect to the Randhurst Shopping Center (hereinafter referred to as the Subject Property), and legally described as follows: Lots 1, 2 and 3 in Randhurst Center Resubdivision No. 1, being a resubdivision of Lot 1 in Randhurst Center, being a subdivision of pad of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 27, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois and WHEREAS, Petitioner seeks an amendment to the Planned Unit Development being the subject of Ordinance No. 3604 to allow the construction of two additional drive-through lanes at LaSalle Bank, 200 East Kensington Road, and an amendment to reduce the required vehicle stacking from five spaces per window to four spaces per window; and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held on the request for an amendment being the subject of ZBA Case No. 04-99 before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the 25~ day of March, 1999, pursuant to proper legal notice having been published in the Mount Prospect Journal & Topics on the 5t~ day of March, 1999; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings on the proposed amendment to a Planned Unit Development tothe President and Board of Trustees; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect would be attained by granting the request in ZBA 04-99. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That the recitals set forth hereinabove are incorporated herein as findings of fact by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect. SECTION TWO: That Ordinance No. 3604, passed and approved on February 4, 1986, is hereby amended by granting a Conditional Use to allow the development of two additional drive-through lanes at LaSalle Bank, creating a total of four lanes, and a Variation to reduce the required number of vehicle stacking spaces from five spaces per window to four spaces per window, a 2,228 square foot amusement facility as shown on the attached Site Plan, a copy of which is attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof as Exhibit "A". age 2 of 2 LaSalle SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
