CONSENT AGENDA A Subject5.6 Motion to waive the rule requiring two readings of an ordinance and adopt AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 (ALCOHOLIC LIQUORS) OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT. \[This ordinance decreases the number of Class "F-2" Liquor Licenses by one (1) Qulinarnia Inc. d/b/a Qulinarnia and increasing the number of Class "F-3" Liquor Licenses by one (1) Qulinarnia Inc. d/b/a Qulinarnia located at 1730 W. Golf Road, Mount Prospect, IL} AccessPublic TypeAction (Consent) Public Content Information Owner Agnieszka Janowska has seen an increase of patrons to her restaurant celebrating events such as communions, graduations and other family celebrations. With this increase of business comes the request for various cocktails which the current license does not allow. The current class "F-2" only allows for the service of beer and wine. She is requesting a classification change to "F-1" allowing for the service of spirits. In addition, Ms. Janowska has taken a contemporary twist on the menu serving more organic healthier entrees. She is also requesting a name change to "Qulinarnia Fit & Healthy". All appropriate paper work is on file and the State Liquor Commission will also be notified of name and classification change. Alternatives 1. Approve an ordinance decreasing the number of Class "F-2" liquor licenses by one (1) and increasing the number of Class "F-1" licenses by one (1). 2. Action at discretion of Village Board. Staff Recommendation Staff recommends approval so as to maintain an accurate number of liquor licenses within classifications.
