CONSENT AGENDA A Subject5.5 Motion to waive the rule requiring two readings of an ordinance and adopt AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 (ALCOHOLIC LIQUORS) OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT. \[This ordinance decreases the number of Class "F-3" Liquor Licenses by one (1) Mina Restaurant Inc. d/b/a Mina Mediteranean Restaurant and increasing the number of Class "F-1" Liquor Licenses by one (1) Mina Restaurant Inc. d/b/a Mina Mediteranean Restaurant located at 1742 W. Golf Road, Mount Prospect, IL} AccessPublic TypeAction (Consent) Public Content Information In February 2018 Mina Mediterranean Restaurant moved from its 3660 square foot location at 1726 W. Golf Road to a 1470 square foot location within the same Mt. Prospect Commons shopping center to 1742 W. Golf Road. Owner Mr. Habib did a total interior remodel to this new location redesigning it as a modern casual Mediterranean restaurant with many of the same popular dishes. With this smaller location Mr. Habib eliminated the lounge area and is now requesting a Class F-1 license (restaurant without lounge). This is considered a change in classification item and necessary in order to maintain the correct number of licenses in each category. Alternatives 1. Approve ordinance decreasing the number of Class "F-3" liquor licenses by one (1) and increasing the number of Class "F-1" licenses by one (1). 2. Action at discretion of Village Board. Staff Recommendation Staff recommends approval so as to maintain an accurate number of liquor licenses within classifications. Said list is hereby amended by decreasing the number of Class "F-3" Liquor Licenses by one (1) Mina Restaurant Inc. d/b/a Mina Mediterranean Restaurant and increasing the number of Class "F-1" Liquor Licenses by one (1) Mina Restaurant Inc. d/b/a Mina Mediterranean Restaurant located at 1742 W.
