MINUTES
March 20, 2018

Fire Department Conference Room
Acting Chairperson Bork called the meeting to order at 3: 00 p.m.
Roll Call: Rockne Bork, Acting Chairperson
Jeanna Claussen, Commissioner
William Knee, Commissioner
Also Present: John Koziol, Chief of Police
Michael Nelson, Police Officer
CITIZENS TO BE HEARD
No one in attendance.
The purpose of this meeting was to conduct Police Department Oral Interviews. Acting Chairperson Bork asked
for a motion to go into Closed Session at 3:04 p.m.
CLOSED SESSION
1. Personnel 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (1) -The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline,
performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body, including hearing testimony on a
complaint lodged against an employee to determine its validity
2. To conduct Police Department Oral Interviews.
A motion was made by Commissioner Knee and seconded by Commissioner Claussen,
Roll Call: Ayes: Bork, Knee, Claussen Nays: None Abstain: None Motion Carried
The Board returned to Open Session with the following present:
Acting Chairperson Bork
Commissioner Claussen
Commissioner Knee
Commissioner Busse (arrived during Closed Session)
Police Chief Koziol
Officer Nelson
Fire Chief Lambel (arrived during Closed Session)
Acting Chairperson Bork asked for a motion to remove the following candidates from further consideration.-
Andrea
onsideration:Andrea Wolinski, Zachary Thompson, Nicholas Parker, Lucas Miller, Alan Smith and Barbara Cios.
A motion was made by Commissioner Knee and seconded by Commissioner Claussen.
Roll Call: Ayes: Bork, Busse, Knee, Claussen Nays: None Abstain: None Motion Carried
A motion was made by Commissioner Bork and seconded by Commissioner Knee to approve the Eligibility List dated March
20, 2018.
Roll Call: Ayes: Bork, Busse, Knee, Claussen Nays: None Abstain: None Motion Carried
A motion was made by Commissioner Busse and seconded by Commissioner Knee to adjourn the meeting at 10:00 p.m.
