AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 11
OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
SE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That Subparagraph A(2) of Section 11.1105, entitled "Insurance Required" of
Chapter 11 of the Mount Prospect Village Code shall be amended by deleting subparagraph
A(2) entirely and inserting in lieu thereof the following new subparagraph A(2) to be and read as
follows:
"A. 2. A policy of insurance or certificate of insurance issued by an insurance
company authorized to do business in the State in an amount of not less than
one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) for bodily injury to any on person;
two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000.00) for injuries to more than one
person which are sustained in the same accident and fifty thousand dollars
($50,000~00) for property damage resulting from any one accident. Said policy or
certificate shall be in full force and effect at the time of license issuance and shall
provide that the coverage may not be canceled or materially changed without
thirb7 (30) days prior written notice to the Chief of Police."
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
