Meeting Minutes
Date: Saturday, November 4, 2017
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Location: Village Hall - Community Room
50 South Emerson Street

L Call to order 9:15 a.m.
Attendance: Teresa VanOpdorp, Liz Stone, Maura Drews, Paul Seils, Sandy DiCaro,
Brian Lambel, Christine Greco, Vicki Busse, Kate Kelly and Jill Friedrichs
Absent: Tarina Wimmer, Haley Schtechter Winkler and Fred Steinmiller
II. Citizens to be heard None
III. Approval of Minutes Motion to approve the Minutes of September 2, 2017 made by Liz Stone,
seconded by Sandy DiCaro. Motion approved unanimously.
IV. Current Financial Report Motion to approve as presented verbally by Teresa VanOpdorp,
made by Kate Kelly, seconded by Maura Drews. Motion approved unanimously.
V. Current Business/Recap
A. Christkindlemarket—Team Leaders: Christina, Maura and Sandy —There are 15
vendors and approximately $500 has been received in vendor fees. One table is $30 and
$45 for two tables. The two table selection has been sold out. There is a good mix of
both new and returning vendors. The market runs from 4:00 until 7:00 and set-up begins
at 3:00.
B. House Decorating—Paul Seils explained the program to our newest members and
passed out the zones within the Village. Our judging takes place between November
27th and December 4th. Have zone decisions to Paul by December 6th. Presentation
will take place at the Board Meeting on December 19th.
C. MPHS Housewalk—Team Leaders: Kate, Sandy and Liz
D. New Years Eve Eve—Team Leaders: Haley, Maura, Liz and Brian
E. Celestial Celebration 2018 —The Communications Department, Howard, needs to help
spread the word/step-up on this event. It needs to be sent out via all the social media ac
counts and other venues that Marianthi did in the past,i.e. the"master list".
