Call to Order 9:02 a.m.

Secretary's Report Motion to accept the Secretary's Report of June 3, 2017 made by Christina
Greco, seconded by Liz Stone Witkowski. No discussion. Motion approved unanimously.
Financial Report A verbal financial report was given by Teresa VanOpdorp. Motion to accept the Fi-
nancial Report as presented made by Sandy DiCaro, seconded by . Motion approved unani-
mously.
4th of July Parade Emails received after the parade were shared with members. Discussion was held
about conversation that took place on the MP Neighbors Facebook page and next year the parade will
end with the Pipes and Drums of Dundee Scots. There needs to be more crowd control between Mrs. P &
Me and Busse Car Wash. The parade does not begin until Mrs. P & Me - don't start handing anything out
until Emerson Street.
Family Bike Ride The bike bells have been delivered. SEC members to bring phillip screwdrivers to bike
ride for installation. We need to purchase water this year, there is no water left from Lions Festival. Along
with water SEC will provide granola bars and bananas which should be delivered to MPPD on Thursday.
Bells are for pre-registered, walk-up participants will get bag only. 10 raffle prizes are needed. Jill will
put together a "purple" raffle basket. Set-up will be Saturday at 8:30. Volunteers are: 5 CERT, 2 bike of-
ficers, Kate and Ken Kelly, Jill and Mark, Liz and Mike, Maura Drews, Christina Greco, Yev Kozachuk and
Sandy DiCaro will be there for registration.
Christkindlemarket Maura Drews needs a flyer to send to potential vendors.
NYEE Is back on the table again this year, NYEE is on Saturday. A subcommittee will be formed for the
event. The event will take place on December 30, 2017, tickets have been $12 per person ($8 to the res-
taurant for the meal). The meal in past has been hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and pop. There have been
2 seatings - 10:30 to 12:30 and 2:00 to 4:00 and a cash bar will be available.
Celestial Celebration With the 100 year event behind us, now is the time to change the format, rebrand
the name and restructure. Teresa will be sending out a list of categories, names and descriptions, so
members could update. Will continue to do nominations and winners but now will produce a video of each
winner to be shown at banquet. Items that will remain: open bar, price to remain $65/$75 and cigar bar.
There will be no dessert bar. And we could supply our own ??? (appetizers, late night snack) highlight
local restaurants.
