Chairperson Powers called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Roll Call: James Powers, Chairman
Charles Bennett, Commissioner
Rockne Bork, Commissioner
Mark Busse, Commissioner
Jackie Hinaber, Commissioner (arrived at 6:02 PM)

CITIZENS TO BE HEARD
None.
CLOSED SESSION - Personnel 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (1) -The appointment, employment, compensation,
discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body, --including hearing
testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee to determine its validity.
• For the Purpose of Conducting Deliberation Regarding Mount Prospect Firefighter/Paramedic
Lloyd Miller
Chairman Powers asked for a motion to adjourn to Closed Session in the Fire Department 2nd Floor
Conference Room for deliberation.
A motion was made by Commissioner Bennett and seconded by Commissioner Busse to go into Closed
Session at 6:02 p.m.
Roll Call: Ayes: Bennett, Bork, Busse, Powers Nays: None Abstain: None Motion Carried
The Board returned to open session at 7:22 p.m. in the Police/Fire Training Room.
Roll Call: Chairman Powers, Commissioner Bennett, Commissioner Bork, Commissioner Busse, and
Commissioner Hinaber
Deliberation was completed and a motion made to set the decision on this matter for a written ruling to be
given on June 5, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. for issuance of a written decision by the Board of Fire and Police
Commissioners.
A motion was made by Commissioner Hinaber and seconded by Commissioner Bennett.
Roll Call: Ayes: Bennett, Bork, Busse, Hinaber, Powers Nays: None Abstain: None Motion Carried
With no further business, a motion was made by Commissioner Bennett and seconded by Commissioner
Bork to adjourn the meeting at 7:25 p.m.
