FINANCE COMMISSION OF MOUNT PROSPECT
Minutes of meeting June 14, 1977
Present: Chairman Ronchetto, Commissioners Bachhuber, Beier, Clauser, Friedl, Hasse,
Hiehle, Linkman and Miller, Ex Officio members Krause, and Jesse
Village Manager Eppley, Asst. Mgr. Geick
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Chairman Ronchetto.
Mayor Carolyn Krause spoke to the group noting the need the Village has for financial
information and advice and offering her full support of tht3 Commissiones independent
deliberations.
Chairman Jack Ronchetto nominated Bill Hasse as Vice Chairman and he was elected
unanimously.
The Commission voted to continue Russell Hiehle as Secretary.
Bill Hasse presented a report on possible changes in the ordinance creating this
Commission that might increase our effectiveness. A discussion of poesible changes
ensued. Iry Linkman moved that Bill Hasso•s report on the proposed changes of the
creating ordinance be submitted to the Trustees as a Commission recomnandation. 'Ibis
motion, seconded by Bill Hasse, was passed unanimously.
The N. W. M. C. report on garbage collection was discussed.. It was agreed that some
representatives with detailed knowledge of this report will be asked to speak to this
Commission. Dick Jesse was asked to attempt to schedule these presentations.
The Chairman appointed Cmr. Hiehle and Cmr. Clauser to research the question of other
possible means of financing the new water facilities such as G. 0. bonds as per
Trustee Leo Floros request.
The next meeting of this Commission will be held Wednesday, June 29, 1977.
It was noted that the Trustees meeting of June 28 might be of interest to some
Commission members.
Chairman Ronchetto adjourned the meeting.
