Minutes of meeting August 30, 1977
Present: Chairman Ronchetto, Commissioners Bachhuber, Beier, Clauser,
Hasse, Hiehle, Linkman, Miller, Mount Prospect Finance Director
Jesse and David Field, Wauterlek & Brown, Inc.$ Chicago, Ill.
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Chairman Ronchetto.
Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting were delayed because the
minutes had not been mailed to the Commissioners.
Dave Field of Wauterlek and Brown addressed the Commission concerning
possible ways of financing the estimated 5 million water improvement and
connection costs relative to obtaining Lake Michigan water. Possibilities
discussed were special service area, water service district, water
commission, water authority and water district. A discussion ensued.
Bill Hasse presented a progress report on the hypothetical 3 -year
budget.
Ross Miller presented his first written report on the property assessment
appeal study. A discussion ensued.
The Commission discussed various budgeting techniques.
Commission meetings were set for September 27 and October 11.
Chairman Ronchetto adjourned the meeting.
