HomeMy WebLinkAbout11/10/1977 FC Joint Meeting minutesMinutes of meeting November 10, 1977 The Mayor called the joint meeting of the Mount Prospect Board of Trustees and the Mount Prospect Finance Commission to order at 7:30 p.m. Attending were Mayor Kraus and Trustees Floros, MintonbMurauskis, Richardson and Wattenberg. Commissioners attending were Chairman Ronchetto, Vice Chairman Hasse, Commissicners Bachhuber, Beier, Clauser, Friedl, Hieiile and Linkman Also attending were Village Manager Eppley, Finance Director Jesse, Assistant Village Manager Geick and Deputy Finance Director Simpson and Ms. Marcia Bosley, a representative of the press (Mt. Prospect Herald). The Mayor asked Commission Chairman Ronchetto to comment on t1he Commission's rc-port on possible r,c.ys to iiaFrcve F;arba`•c collection a -rid contro] f3;cre_ -,—ire eo:;ts of this service. Vice Chairman Hasse, the Chairman of the Commission's subcommittee in char ;e of the tYree--ycar fir-wncial projections report explained the report in detail useir.- visual aids and charts. Vice Chairman Hasse then answered questions posed by Board members. The Mayor then asked some questions concerning the projected deficit in the water and sewer fund and the Commission addressed itself to these questions. Village Manager Eppley updated Board and Commission members on the D.A.r`..P. study concerning the possibility of purchasing water from the City of Evanston and piping it along the utility company right of nay. He also discussed the share plus th ce study of the possibility of purchasing; water from the City of C;iicago ar:d pipir.`, it from the O'Hare Field area. Mr. Eppley said he would advize the Commission of any new developments and provide any reports that would ae;si; t it's sul-eorm,.ittee ctudying the water extension problem.
