Minutes of meeting December 13, 1977
Attending: Chairman Ronchetto, Commissioners Beier, Claus --r, Hasse, Hiehle,
Linkman and. Miller. Dick Jesse, Finance Director and Ed Geick,
Assistant Manager.
Chairman Ronchetto called the meeting to order at 8 P.M.
The Commission approved the minutes of the last two meetings and the report of
December 2, 1977 concerning recommended action on the bond reserve fund, all
unanimously without amendment.
Chairman Ronchetto a_hed Dick Jesse to coniT.:cr.-t or the report-- from, the Director of
Engineering concerning balances in the flood control fund and their proposed uses,
which he did.
ine possibility of refunding the outstanding water and sewer revenue bonds while
raising new funds for various water and sewer repair and extension projects was
discussed briefly. Ed Geick was asked to provide the Commission with a dollar
estimate of the total presently anticipated repair and extension needs of the
Village system.
Possible areas of involvement for the Commission in the budget process were discussed
and the following subcommittees were formed to report their findings to the full
Commission:
Commissioner Hasse - Review of Personnel Requirements
Commissioners Linkman and Beier - Police and Fire Departments
Commissioner Hiehle - Use of Copying Machines, Federal Carrot Funding (Disappearing)
and it's Effect on the Budget.
Chairman Ronchetto adjourned the meeting.
