FINANCE COMMISSION
October 30, 1985
I Call to Order

The Meeting was called to order at 7:35 PM with Commis-
sioners Richard Bachhuber, Paul Davies, William Holloway and
Ann Smilanic present. Commissioner Thomas Pekras arrived at
8:00 PM. Also present were Village Manager Terrance
Burghard and Finance Director David Jepson.
II Guidelines for Contributions to Not -for -Profit Organi-
zations
Finance Director Jepson briefly reviewed the discussions of
the previous two meetings and the revised guidelines that
had been prepared by Commissioner Holloway after the last
meeting. Following a general discussion, the revised
guidelines were reviewed in detail by the Commissioners. A
number of minor changes were made to clarify the distinction
between civic organizations and charitable and/or social
organizations.
It was decided that the guidelines would be corrected and
mailed to each Commissioner for their review and approval.
The guidelines will then be submitted to the Village Board
for their consideration at a Committee of the Whole meeting
on November 12, 1985. Village Manager Burghard encouraged
each Commissioner to attend that meeting.
III There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned
at 9:00.
