a) Financinq Ordinance ,
The attached ordinance is presented for two reasons. In
anticipation of the new Village code, this section is being
recodified; that is why the bonding and line -of -credit
sections are being included.
The Section 8.603, Promissory Notes, Mortgages, Security
Interests and Payment thereof,is the enabling ordinance
which will allow the Village to borrow money to buy the
Boesche property and the computer. Since the Village has
not borrowed in this method before, this ordinance will
have to be passed prior to signing the individual promissory
notes for each loan. There are notes on the ordinance to
show which parts are just restatements of the current code
and which is the new portion of the ordinance.
b) Computer Financing Analysis
Attached is an analysis of the financing alternatives for
paying for the new computer.
c) Financial Reporting Discussion
Mrs. Peppler will present some samples for discussion of
the type of financial reports which the Committee and
Board would like to see in the future.
