COFFEE WITH COUNCIL

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Gerald L. " Skip" Farley.
Trustee Arlene Juracek was also present. Representing staff were
Fire Chief Ed Cavello and Assistant Village Manager David Strahl.

Betty Hanning began the discussion by questioning repeated
references made by Trustee Hendricks during Village Board
Meetings which pertained to his ward. Mayor Farley reassured
Mrs. Hanning that the Village of Mount Prospect is not and will not
be divided into wards or districts in the near future.
David Schein inquired if the village is currently regulating the
installation of the smaller satellite dishes that are on the market. He
stated he has noticed an increased number of these items are starting
to show up and Mr. Schein expressed his concern about the
possibility of ever increasing electro -magnetic contamination. Dave
Strahl stated that the village was in fact studying the new
technology.
