Also present were Jack Metcalf, 210 N. Prospect Manor, Fire Chief, Edward M. Cavello and Assistant Village Manager David Strahl. Tom and Barb Neitzke , 17 S. Maple, arrived at 10:10 a.m. Jack Metcalf thanked the Village Board members for their efforts to suppress gang activity. Discussion followed concerning gang clothing and the proactive approach of the Board. Mr. Metcalf also expressed concern of a minor problem on his block involving dog owners not picking up dog droppings. He thought that three new home owners may not be aware of their responsibility as pet owners. Trustee Skowron suggested reminders be printed in local P.T.A. newsletters along with the Village Newsletter to inform dog owners throughout the Village. Trustee Clowes further recommended a letter be sent to all dog owners indicating their responsibility to pick up dog droppings. Tom and Barb Neitzke inquired as to the status of the Village's Facade Program. They were informed of a discussion by the Board of Trustees that indicated the program was still in effect and they should contact Community Development Director, William J. Cooney. Discussion followed concerning downtown development past, present and future. The Coffee With Council Meeting adjourned at 11:20 a.m. Respectfully Submitted, Edward M. Cavello Fire Chief
