CALL TO ORDER
President Figolah called the meeting to order at 08:40A.M.
ROLL CALL
Present upon roll call
Chief Figolah, President
Donald Burger, Secretary
Jeff Ricker, Firefighter
Irvana Wilks, Mayor
David Erb, Finance Director
Kimberly Dewis, Dep. Clerk
Absent Sam Baas, Firefighter
James Juliano, Retired Firefighter
Village Attorney
Also present was the Pension Board Attorney Carry Collins
APPROVE AGENDA
The agenda was approved as presented.
NEW BUSINESS
President Figolah opened the hearing pursuant to the Illinois Firemen Pension,
Act.5, Article 4, Chapter 40 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes, to determine the
application for a duty related permanent disability by F/P Adam Gilbert. The
applicant acknowledged receiving a copy of the Notice of Hearing.
Chief Figolah started with the first date F/P Gilbert received his injury
(3/24/2002). He went on to talk about the numerous surgeries F/P Gilbert had on
his Rt. Knee. On 2/1/05 F/P Gilbert had a partial knee replacement prohibiting
him from returning to work as a Firefighter.
Jeff Ricker seconded by Kimberly Dewis moved to grant F/P Adam Gilbert a duty
related permanent disability.

Erb
Nays: None
Motion Carried
ADJOURNMENT
Don Burger, seconded by Jeff Ricker moved to adjourn the meeting.
