IV. DISCUSSION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN MAPLE STREET TOWN'HOMES
ASSOCIATION AND VILLAGE OF MOIJNT PROSPECT REGARDING
USE OF PARKING LOT
At the request of the Maple Street Townhomes Association, staff has reviewed the
format for an Agreement to allow parking in Village lots in the everSng hours
which can be used not only in this situation but if there may be other situations
that arise throughout the Village.
Attached is a copy of the Agreement. There will be representatives of the Maple
Street Townhomes Association present.
V. DISCUSSION OF IMPACT OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS SURCHARGE
PROPOSAL
Governor Edgar's budget message has indicated some modifications to State
?ayments which includes payments to municipalities from the State Income Tax
Surcharge. With the potential discussion of the elimination of this Fund possibly
effective the end of June of this year, the Board should discuss contingency should
those Funds not be available.
Attached are memorandums with recommendations and a listing of Capital
Improvement Funds which may be affected.
VI. DISCUSSION OF NAME FOR POLICE AND FIRE BUILDING UNDER
CONSTRUCTION
Attached is a Resolution drafted by Mayor Farley adopting a Policy for naming
of public places. In addition, it will also be necessai3, for the Board to determine
the name for the new Police and Fire Building so that we can give direction to
the contractor for the cornerstone as well as the architect for the plaque.
