IV. PROJECT PEOPLE RECOGNITION
The Village is recognizing the efforts as well as the awards that have been
received by Project PEOPLE which is an organization created by children and a
teacher in the River Trails Junior High School.
Attached is information about Project PEOPLE. April 28 is also the date set
aside by the U. S. Conference of Mayors as National Youth Service Recognition
Day. Since we have an organization in town that has been recognized nationally,
it is appropriate for us to choose this day to recognize Project PEOPLE. There
will be a commemorative tree and an appropriate plaque placed on the River
Trails Junior High School property next month.
V. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
On March 18, 1992 the Plan Commission completed its review of the
Comprehensive Plan and unanimously recommended approval of the revised Plan
that is attached.
Staff w/Il be present to go over the specific changes that are seen in this revised
Plan.
VI. MOUNT PROSPECT POLICE AND FIRE HEADOUARTERS UPDATE
Fred Borich of Donohue will be present to give the Board an update on the
construction of the Headquarters building. He also w/il review items concerning
upgrades on the building. A memorandum is attached with specific
recommendations.
