This item was initially discussed at the August 25 Committee of the Whole
meeting where upon it was placed on the September 1 Board Agenda for first
reading. Upon further discussions, this item was remanded back to the Committee
of the Whole.
Ail materials provided pre¼ously are included again in this package. Appropriate
staff and Committee members will be available for discussion purposes.
V. PROPOSED CHANGES TQ THE BIJILDING AND FIRE PREVENTIQN CQDE
Discussion will continue regarding proposed changes to the Building and Fire
Prevention Codes. Staff will be available to provide information regarding the
rationale for the proposed changes.
At this time, a deferral is requested regarding discussion of Article V, Fees, while
staff re-evaluates the need for increases.
