A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
STRATEGIC PLAN IMPLEMENTATION GUIDE
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect passed and approved
Resolution No. 16-14 on April 1, 2014, adopting the Village of Mount Prospect Strategic Plan for
2020; and
WHEREAS, the six goals for Vision Attainment established in the Strategic Plan are: 1)
Infrastructure 2) Development 3) Business 4) Commercial Business District 5) Governance and
6) Cultural Climate.
WHEREAS, the Strategic Plan Implementation Guide reinforces the Village Mission and Vision and
establishes key priorities and targets for action to support the Strategic Plan goals: and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook
County, Illinois, have reviewed the Strategic Plan Implementation Guide (attached as Exhibit "A")
and have determined that such strategic plan implementation guide be adopted to achieve the
vision and mission goals of the Village of Mount Prospect.
SECTION TWO: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval in the manner provided by law.

ABSENT: None
