HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 03-16 02/02/2016 Resubmit for a Map Amendment - 1420 and 1421 West Central RoadRESOLUTION NO. 03-16 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIATION TO RESUBMIT FOR A MAP AMENDMENT WITHIN A YEAR AFTER DENIAL FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1420 AND 1421 WEST CENTRAL ROAD WHEREAS, on July 7, 2015 the Mount Prospect Village Board (Village) denied the Board of Education Mount Prospect School District 57 (School District) request to rezone 1420 and 1421 West Central Road from CR Conservation Recreation to R1 Single -Family Residence; and WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 14 (Zoning) Section 203.C(14) entitled "Effect of Denial Proposal' the Village typically does not allow for resubmittal of a request for a period less than twelve months of the date of denial; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the intergovernmental cooperation between the Village of Mount Prospect and Board of Education Mount Prospect School District 57, the "Village" and the "School District" sought mutual resolution of their differences; and WHEREAS, an Intergovernmental Settlement Agreement and Release has been achieved; and WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees has determined it is in the best interest of the Village, School District and public to grant a variation to Resubmit for a Map Amendment within a year after denial for property located at 1420 and 1421 West Central Road. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect: SECTION ONE: That the Board of Trustees do hereby grant a variation to Resubmit for a Map Amendment within a Year After Denial for Property Located at 1420 and 1421 West Central Road. SECTION TWO: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
