Call to Order 9:05 a.m.
Secretary's Report Motion to approve the Minutes of October 3, 2015 made by Tarina Wimmer, se-
conded by Christina Greco. No discussion held. Motion approved unanimously.
Financial Report A report was given by Teresa VanOpdorp. Application fees for the Christkindlemarket
have not been posted to the SEC account.
Holiday House Decorating Paul Seils distributed the "sections" of Mount Prospect. The categories are
the same as last year. Judging should take place November 30 until December 6, 2015. Please return
area winners to Paul by December 8th. Awards will be presented at the Village Board Meeting on Decem-
ber 15, 2015. Paul wants to make sure everyone has his email: ragtopchvy2@yahoo.com
Christkindlemarket There are 18 maybe 19 vendors scheduled for the event. Set-up begins at 3:00 and
starts at 4:00. Volunteers are needs for set-up, tear -down and possibly man a table with Celestial infor-
mation. There was talk about getting the volunteers a food platter that afternoon.
Celestial Celebration 2016 Will be held February 5, 2016 at Cotillion Banquets which has been booked.
The DJ and ProMix representatives still need to be contacted. The Silent Auction committee is: Jill Frie-
drichs (lead), Sandy DiCaro, Tarina Wimmer, Christina Greco and Maura Drews. Flowers will once again
be furnished by Busse Flowers and Gifts. The Sponsorship committee is: Liz Stone,
Fred Steinmiller and Sandy DiCaro. Nominations are due November 15th with a midnight postmark. To
date there are 42 nominations that have been received. Check with Nothing Bundt Cake and Nut Phree for
a donation or possible partnership.
Centennial Celestial Celebration 2017 Discussion held on the event
Next meeting: Saturday, December 5th, 9:00 a.m., Community Room, Village Hall.
