A. PUBLIC HEARING
This public hearing, called pursuant to proper legal notice having been published in
the Daily Herald on November 23, 2015, is for the purpose of presenting the
proposed tax levy for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2015 and ending
December 31, 2015.
B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF (Exhibit B)
TAXES FOR THE CORPORATE AND MUNICIPAL PURPOSES OF THE VILLAGE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
JANUARY 1, 2015 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2015.

JANUARY 1, 2016 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2016 IN LIEU OF PASSAGE OF
AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE.
F. A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR AN ANNEXATION (Exhibit F)
AGREEMENT WITH THE ILLINOIS STATE TOLL HIGHWAY AUTHORITY
Staff is recommending the annexation of a 44.5' x 2185' parcel of land along 1-90 in the
area of Lynn Court. This annexation will preserve the integrity of our border along the
1-90 corridor. This annexation will also facilitate the process for annexing other properties
that abut this parcel should the village consider such an action in the future. The Public
Hearing for the Annexation Agreement would be held for December 15, 2015.
G. A RESOLUTION FOR MAINTENANCE OF STREETS AND HIGHWAYS BY (Exhibit G)
MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE (BLR14230)
This resolution appropriates money from Motor Fuel Tax funds (MFT) for the
maintenance of streets and highways from January 1, 2016 — December 31, 2016.
This resolution is a required step for the expenditures of MFT funds.

H. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT TO THE MOUNT PROSPECT (Exhibit H)
PUBLIC LIBRARY UNDER THE TERMS OF A GROUND LEASE AGREEMENT.
This resolution authorizes the 2016 annual lease payment of $1.00 to the Mount
Prospect Public Library for property used for the Municipal Parking Garage.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT (Exhibit 1)
BETWEEN THE FOREST RIVER FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT AND THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT.
This annual agreement required by Court Order authorizes the Village to provide
emergency services to those portions of unincorporated Cook County.
XII. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT
A. Motion to approve bid for 2016 Traffic Signal Maintenance in an amount not
exceed $32,000.
