FinancialReport AverbalreportwasgivenbyTeresaVanOpdorp.TheVillageBikeRidehadsponsors thatcontributed$500totheevent.Afterexpensestheeventclearedabout$300.TheSEChasabankof approximately$12,000thatisearmarkedfortheCentennialCelestialCelebration. BikeRide Theparticipantthathadthe“heat”problemsentathankyounoteforcaringforhim,he’sfine. Therewerelesspre-registeredparticipantsthisyearyetthereweremoreridersthatshowedupthedayof theevent.Thenewrouteworkedwell;itwassuggestedthatanoversizedposterbeattheregistration areasoparticipantscansnapapicturefordirections.Athankyounoteneedstobesentto7-11for providingcoffeeattheevent.Itwasdiscussedanddecidedthatexcessgoodiebagswillbegiventothe 4thofJulyeventsotheymaypromotethenextVillageBikeRide. Christkindlemarket ChristinaGrecoandMauraDrewswillco-chairtheeventwhichwilltakeplaceon November25th.ThereareacoupleMountProspectLionsClubFarmersMarketparticipantsinterestedin participatinginthisyear’sChristkinglemarket,FredSteinmillerwillgetapplicationstothem.Newvendors areneeded.Therewasextensivediscussiononvendors. CelestialCelebration2016 WillbeheldFebruary5,2016atCotillionBanquets.Colorschemewillbegold withmaroonhighlights.TeresaVanOpdorpwillberevampingthenominationcategories.Nominationswill beavailableOctober1sttoNovember15th.Solicitationlettersforbothsponsorsanddonationrequests needtobesenttocommitteemembers.Thebundtletsweresuchahitlastyearitwasrecommendedthat amemberaskCindy,NothingBundtCakes,toparticipateagainthisyear. CentennialCelestialCelebration2017 Discussiontookplaceonthissubjectandcenteredaround entertainment.Somesuggestionswere:TheHemispheres,“R”GangandMichaelBuble.
