RESOLUTION NO. 31-15
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN MICHAEL J. CASSADY AND THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Village Board of Trustees believe that an appropriately structured
employment agreement can strengthen the Council -Manager relationship by enhancing the
excellence and continuity of the management of the Village of Mount Prospect for the benefit of
its residents; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees desire to employ the services of
Michael J. Cassady, as the Village Manager, pursuant to the terms, conditions and provisions of
this agreement; and
WHEREAS, Michael J. Cassady, has agreed to accept employment as the Village Manager,
subject to the terms, conditions and provisions of this Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS ACTING IN THE
EXERCISE OF THEIR HOME RULE POWERS:
SECTION ONE: A certain employment agreement by and between the Village of Mount
Prospect and Michael J. Cassady is hereby approved.
SECTION TWO: This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
AYES: Hoefert, Polit, Rogers, Saccotelli, Zadel
NAYS: None
ABSENT: Juracek, Matuszak
