FINANCE COMMISSION
Minutes of the Meeting
October 23, 2014
Emergency Operations Center

I.Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:13p.m. Those present included Chairman Vince
Grochocinski and Commissioners Pam Bazan, Trish Chokshi, John Kellerhals, Tom
Pekras and Don Ocwieja. Also in attendance were Village Manager Mike Janonis,
Assistant Village Manager David Strahl, Finance Director Dave Erb, Assistant Finance
Director Lynn, Chief of Police Tim Janowick, Deputy Chief of Administration Tim
Griffin, Deputy Chief of Field Operations Mike Eterno, Fire Chief John Malcolm (More
Fire Department), Director of Public Works Sean Dorsey and Deputy Director Jason
Leib.
II.Approval of Minutes
There were not any to approve.
III.Citizens to be Heard
There were not any citizens to be heard.
IV.Old Business
There was not any old business.
V.New Business
a)The Proposed 2015 Village Budget for Police, Fire and Public Works were
reviewed.
i.Chief of Police Tim Janowick presented the proposed 2015 Police
Department Budget.
ii.Fire Chief John Malcolm presented the proposed 2015 Fire Department
Budget.
iii.Director of Public Works Sean Dorsey presented the proposed 2015 Public
works Budget.
VI.Other Business
There was no other business.

There was no Chairman report.

There was no Finance Director Report.

IX.Next Meeting: October 16, 2014
The next meeting will be Thursday, October 30, 2014, 7:00pm at Mount Prospect Village
st
Hall, 1 Floor Finance Conference Room.
X.Adjournment
Commissioner Pekras moved to adjourn the meeting and Commissioner Trisha Chokshi
seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 8:37 PM
