Motion approved unanimously. Wrap-up discussion from Celestial Celebration *Guests fell down indoor stairs. Need to post someone at stairs to assist, warn guests. *Lot of compliments. *Thank you’s received from several guests. *Had SEC members throughout the room ~ how was service? Good throughout the room. *Temperature varied throughout the room, cold areas. *Centerpieces were beautiful, once again a lot of compliments from guests. *Bundt cakes were a great addition (so great that several cakes taken from tables). *Robert Bosch was pleased with the sponsor signage. *The cigar lady was in the corner ~ BUT she did better than last year in sales. *Hiccup of the evening was stage spot lights were shining in guests faces. Had to search out lighting tech. *Screens worked well in this venue. *It was nice sitting in the back and being able to see everything. *Lighting: don’t feed crew that are not there during the event. Need to email company owner and clarify this point. *Wine Grab did well: over the years ~ 2013 $210; 2014 $610 and 2015 $835. In future make table tents to let guests know that wine is available for purchase and corking. *Entertainment in the future? That is dependent on the number of award winners. Maybe or even most definitely for the 100th Anniversary. *If Cotillion wants deliveries made at the side entrance it needs to be shoveled and salted. *The owner of Cotillion was “hands on” all evening. *Three (3) silent auction gifts were never picked up. *Add phone number to the bid sheet. *Next year try having guests pre-register for silent auction. Will/should help with identifying winners. *Thank you’s to Teresa for taking all the inquiries regarding change of venue. *SEC and Centennial Commission should meet in the near future. Next meeting June 6, 2015. Adjourn 9:55 a.m. Respectfully submitted, Jill Friedrichs
