RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE CONSOLIDATED ELECTION
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT HELD APRIL 7, 2015
WHEREAS, the Consolidated General Election was held in and for the Village of Mount Prospect,
Cook County, Illinois, on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, for the purpose of electing three Village Trustees
for four year terms, two Library Trustees for six year terms and one Library Trustee for a four year
term; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect do hereby declare
the results of the April 7, 2015 election for said Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That pursuant to the Consolidated Election Laws of the State of Illinois, a regular
election was held for the Village of Mount Prospect, Tuesday, April 7, 2015.
SECTION TWO: That an official canvass was conducted on April 28, 2015 by the Cook County
Clerk’s Canvassing Board for the Village of Mount Prospect declaring that 3,777 ballots were
counted as follows:
Village Trustee – 4-year terms
Paul Wm. Hoefert 2,492
Colleen Saccotelli 1,625
Richard F. Rogers 1,495
A. John Korn 1,428
John Dyslin 1,399
Kevin J. Nohelty 1,240
Kevin Grouwinkel 606
Library Trustee – 6-year terms
Sylvia Haas 3,148
No Candidate 0
Library Trustee – 4-year terms
Sylvia Fulk 3,084
SECTION THREE: A) Inasmuch as Paul Wm. Hoefert, Colleen Saccotelli and Richard F.
Rogers received the greatest number of votes, they are hereby declared elected to the Office of
Village Trustee of the Village of Mount Prospect for four-year terms;
B) Inasmuch as Sylvia Haas received an uncontested number of votes,
she is hereby declared elected to the Office of Library Trustee of the Village of Mount Prospect for
a six-year term;
C) Inasmuch as Sylvia Fulk received an uncontested number of votes,
she is hereby declared elected to the Office of Library Trustee of the Village of Mount Prospect for
a four-year term.
SECTION FOUR: The Village Clerk is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution
to the Cook County Election Department as provided by law.
SECTION FIVE: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval in the manner provided by law.
