Chairperson Skowron called the meeting to order at 3:31 p.m.
Roll Call: Michaele Skowron, Chairperson
Charles Bennett, Commissioner
James Powers, Commissioner
Also Present: Henry Dawson, Deputy Fire Chief
Aaron Grandgeorge, Battalion Chief
CITIZENS TO BE HEARD
No one in attendance.
The purpose of the meeting was to conduct Fire Department background oral interviews. Chairperson
Skowron asked for a motion to go into closed session.
CLOSED SESSION
A motion was made by Commissioner Bennett and seconded by Commissioner Powers to go into Closed
Session at 3:31 p.m. under Personnel 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (1)-The appointment, employment, compensation,
discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body, including hearing testimony
on a complaint lodged against an employee to determine its validity, and to conduct Fire Department
background oral interviews.
Roll Call: Ayes: Bennett, Powers, Skowron Nays: None Motion Carried
The Board returned to open session at 8:17 p.m. with everyone present from the previous session.
A motion was made by Commissioner Bennett and seconded by Commissioner Powers to approve the
list as read.
Roll Call: Ayes: Bennett, Powers, Skowron Nays: None Motion Carried
With no further business, a motion was made by Commissioner Bennett and seconded by Commissioner
Powers to adjourn the meeting at 8:19 p.m.
Voice Vote: Ayes: Bennett, Powers, Skowron Nays: None Motion Carried
