I. CALL TO ORDER — ROLL CALL
President John Malcolm called the meeting to order at 1:34 p.m.
Present upon roll call: John Malcolm — President
David Erb — Treasurer
Joe Knoll — Secretary/Firefighter
Jim East — FOIA/OMA Officer/Firefighter
Sam Baas — Retired Firefighter
Cary Collins — Attorney for the Pension Fund
Tim Duda — Attorney for the applicant
Eric Mertes — Pension fund disability applicant
Kendra Mertes — Wife of member/applicant
Kristi Landolina - Certified shorthand reporter
of the State of Illinios

IV. EXECUTIVE SESSION
At 3:35 P. M., a motion to go into executive session for deliberation was
made by Sam Baas, second by Jim East.
Roll call vote results are unanimous yes.
Executive session terminated at 3:51 P.M.
IV. OPEN SESSION
Joe Knoll motioned to grant a duty related disability to Eric Mertes
effective Jan 1, 2014. Motion seconded by Sam Baas.
Roll call vote was unanimous yes.
VI. ADJOURNMENT
Sam Baas, seconded by Joe Knoll moved to adjourn the meeting at
3:55 P.M.
Motion was approved.
