A RESOLUTION FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON
WHEREAS, the holiday season has arrived, and it is the time of the year when, as
individuals and as a community, we reflect on our relationships with others, the goodwill
that is shared, and all that remains to be done to create a peaceful and safe world for all;
and
WHEREAS, such a solemn, but joyous, time should include exchanges of concern, care,
and love among all people.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: The Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect do
extend to the citizens of Mount Prospect our sincere wishes for a joyous holiday season, and
on behalf of our entire community, we extend to everyone a resolution of good faith and
kindness so that there may be peace on this earth.
SECTION TWO: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
