X. OLD BUSINESS A. PZ -21-14, 2806 Briarwood Drive West, Andrew Kalinowski 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION (OVERALL LOT COVERAGE) FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2806 BRIARWOOD DRIVE WEST, MOUNT PROSPECT This ordinance grants a Variation for overall lot coverage for the property located at 2806 Briarwood Drive West. The Planning and Zoning Commission denied the request at the July 24, 2014 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting by a 0-7 vote. The Petitioner is appealing the decision of the Planning and Zoning Commission and requesting Village Board approval. Village Board approval requires a super majority vote. By a vote of 6-0 at the September 16, 2014 Village Board meeting, the Village Board continued deferral of this item until such time as staff have completed additional research of the subject property and the request for variation for overall lot coverage. By a vote of 6-0 at the October 7, 2014 Village Board meeting this item was approved for deferral until the October 21, 2014 Village Board meeting. By a vote of 7-0 at the October 21, 2014 Village Board meeting this item was approved for deferral until February 3, 2015. XI. NEW BUSINESS A. PZ -32-14, 1900 West Lonnquist Boulevard and 1901 Estates Drive, Community Consolidated School District 59 1" reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE (Exhibit B) VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, CONDITIONAL USE FOR PUD AND VARIATION TO PARKING LOT SETBACK FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1900 WEST LONNQUIST BOULEVARD AND 1901 ESTATES DRIVE This ordinance grants 1) Zoning Map Amendment to rezone 1900 West Lonnquist from R -X Single Family Residence to R-1 Single Family Residence; 2) Conditional Use for a final Planned Unit Development (PUD) and 3) Variation to allow a ten foot (10') park lot setback for the property located at 1900 W. Lonnquist Blvd. and 1901 E. Estates Drive. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the requests by a vote 7-0. Page 2 of 3 Village Board Agenda November 5, 2014 B. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT TO ENTER (Exhibit C) INTO TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT/GRANT WITH THE REGIONAL TRANSIT AUTHORITY (RTA) The Village of Mount Prospect was awarded a $100,000 grant from the RTA to conduct a Rand Road Corridor Plan for Mount Prospect. This governing resolution authorizes the Village Manager to sign forms on behalf of the Village Board as the project moves forward. XII. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT A. Status XIII.
