Minutes of the Meeting
September 25, 2014
1" Floor Community Center
Village Hall 50 S. Emerson Street
I. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. Those present included Chairman Vince
Grochocinski and Commissioners Pam Bazan, John Kellerhals, Trish Chokshi and Don
Ocwieja. Finance Director David Erb was also in attendance. Commissioner Tom Pekras
was unable to attend the meeting.
11. Approval of Minutes
March 27, 2014 - Commissioner Kellerhals moved to approve the minutes and
Commissioner Bazan seconded the motion. The minutes were approved.
111. Citizens to be Heard
There were no citizens to be heard.
IV. Old Business
There was not any old business.
V. New Business
Finance Director Erb introduced the new Finance Commission's newest member Trish
Chokshi. Finance Director Erb provided a review of the proposed 2014 Property Tax
Levy. The Levy has not been approved and may be affected by upcoming budget
discussions. The Commission discussed levy increase alternatives. A 1% change in the
levy equates to approximately $173,000 in revenue. Additional discussion regarding the
tax levy is planned for future Finance Commission meetings.

There was no Finance Director Report.
IX. Next Meeting: October 16, 2014
The next meeting will be Thursday, October 16, 2014, 6:OOpm at Village Hall, I't Floor
Community Center.

X. Adjournment
Commissioner Bazan motioned to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Chokshi
seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 9:23 p.m.
