Roll Call a. Call to Order 3:00 pm b. Members present: John Zulaski, Jessica Thunberg, and Marianthi Thanopolous c. Non - Members present: Duff Rice and Brad Miller of Duff Entertainment II. Approval of April 22nd, 2014 Minutes a. Approved with minor spelling correction. (VIII a. Plan instead of Ian) III. Citizens to be heard a. None IV. Review of Village website capabilities and limitations. a. Is a separate website required for the Centennial Celebration webpages? i. Marianthi Thanopoulos recommended that a new website be developed as was done with "Experience Mount Prospect ". ii. The advantages will be a site that more effectively supports the promotion of the Centennial events, provides a calendar with added functionality and offers social media capability fine -tuned to reach all residents. iii. The sub - committee is in agreement that a new website should be pursued. b. If so, what are the one -time and on -going costs? i. Representatives from Duff Entertainment, developers of the "Experience Mount Prospect" website will develop an estimating budget for the website based on the approved Centennial website plan. ii. Duff Entertainment will also provide a cost estimate for the development of an Audio visual presentation utilizing oral histories and old photographs based on an outline of work to be done provided by John Zulaski. iii. The cost estimates are to be available for presentation at the July 8th Centennial Commission meeting V. Webpage content status and issues. a. The content and duties were updated per discussions of the last Centennial Commission meeting. b. No further changes were made. VI. Intern duties a. An intern from France will be available to work on website activities from September through December. b. The primary duties will be to assist Marianthi Thonopoulos with content development and social media promotion. VII. Website development timeline review. a. To the extent feasible, content development should be accelerated to take full advantage of the Intern. VIII. Proposals for July Centennial Commission planning meeting. a. Will recommend development of a separate website for the Centennial. b. Will seek budget approval for website development and maintenance. IX. Next meeting? a. None scheduled X.
