Roll Call a. Call to Order 10:00 am b. Members present: John Zulaski, Jessica Thunberg, absent Marianthi Thanopolous th II. Approval of February 4, 2014 Minutes a. Approved as written III. Citizens to be heard a. None. IV. Historical Society and Mount Prospect Public Library proposals a. John Zulaski provided update on meetings with Historical Society and Mount Prospect Library, including: Both organizations willing to help develop content for Centennial website. V. Review and update of Centennial Celebration website navigation a. Minor adjustments to the website navigation were made and will be presented to the Centennial Commission at their next meeting in May. VI. Review of webpage owners, status of content, content delivery issues and potential solutions a. Need to determine who will manage Centennial social media accounts day-to- day beginning in 2016 when robust content/engagement is needed; potential intern job. b. John Zulaski, working with Library, will present list of potential oral history profiles to Commission asking Commission to identify five that Library will edit and showcase. c. John Zulaski to identify who has a list of Village Achievements over the last century that can be showcased on Centennial website. VII. Website development timeline review a. Reviewed timeline of Centennial website deliverables, including when draft content is due (January 2015). b. Will present to Commission for review/approval. c. Determined that at future sub-committee meetings, members will discuss launch of website, public announcement and website promotion. VIII. Proposals for May Centennial Commission planning meeting. a. lan for website appears to be on track. IX. Next meeting a. None scheduled. TBD later. X.
